Hi everybody,

Today's topic is wiki. Let's learn what wiki is first. A wiki is a collaborative website whose content can be edited (with permission) by visitors to the site (Chao, 2007).  Wikis can be used as a source of information and knowledge as well.
This week we learn how to create a wiki page. Our topic is creating a film review. We choose Les Choritos with my friend Hazal. The movie is about education and how to educate childeren. As we are going to be a teacher in the future we like it so much. I highly recommend you to watch it. Click here to see our film review. Thank you.

Podcasting

Hi everybody! Today's topic is podcasting. Firtly let's learn what podcast is.

  Podcast is a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device. For English classes it is really beneficial, as we need to develope our student's speaking and listening skills. We can use it for both sides. Initially we can create some podcast to teach our students how to create podcast, then we may want a podcast from our students.

  I creat a podcast for you. This is my first experience. It was a little bit hard  for me as I didn't know anything about podcasts, but if I had some instructions about how to create a podcast, it would be much more easier. The hardest thing was finding an application to turn my record into podcast.  Hi everybody! Today’s topic is about RSS reader. First let’s explain what RSS reader is.  Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary provides us to follow our favorite blogs, podcast etc. When they share new post the app inform us. It is really important to use this kind of application in order not to miss any post, as we fallow many many pages, blogs, podcasts... click here to install it or you can use it online. For now I am only following one blog and it is my favorite one. Click here to see the whole profile. It is a professional blog written by a teacher. There are many beneficial posts about how to teach by using different kinds of materials. If you teach a foreign language -not specially English- I highly recommend you to follow this blog. There are some posts like how Netflix could transform the way we learn languages or six simple way to get your students talking. I believe that you can use many of these posts in your classes.
