21st CENTURY SKILLS

Hi everybody!

Today’s topic is about 21^st century skills.  We can evaluate 21^st century skills in three parts.

1.       Learning Skills (4Cs)

·         Critical Thinking: Critical thinking is the ability to analyze information objectively and make a reasoned judgment.

·         Creative Thinking: Today’s digital world everybody can easily reach much information. So in order to be different we need to use this information by thinking creatively.

·         Collaborating: Collaborating is an important part of 21^st century skills, because it helps us to notice others perspective and knowledge. So we can improve ourselves.

·         Communicating: Today’s digital word we use many different devices to communicate each other. However, we need to know how to communicate effectively to be different in today’s word.

2.       Literacy Skills

·         Information Literacy: Today’s digital world we can easily reach much information. So we need to decide whether the information is true or not. Information literacy enable us this skill.

·         Media Literacy: Today’s digital world we need to identify different types of media and understand the messages they're sending.

·         Technology Literacy: Today’s digital world we have to use many different technological tools. So we need to know how to use, manage, evaluate, and understand technology.

3.       Life Skills

·         Flexibility

·         Initiative

·         Social Skills

·         Productivity

·         Leadership
